  • Jewish Terrorist Targeting Jews and Arabs!

Yesterday, a police gag order of 2 years was lifted by the state of Israel to expose a Jewish terrorist living in Judea and Samaria.  His name is Yaakov (Jack) Teitel, an American-Israeli who immigrated to Israel.

After 2 years of enduring the wait for justice for David and Leah Ortiz, Teitel confessed to be the bomber that critically injured Ami, their 15 year old son.  His intent was to kill, but the result was justice.

Besides his violent activities against Messianic Jews, Teitel a 37 year old former US Marine turned ultra-orthodox, admitted to carrying out several other crimes, including the murder of at least two Palestinian Arabs and the bombing of Israel Prize Laureate Prof. Ze'ev Sternhall.

Teitel, a father of four, with the youngest 4 months old, claimed that he was about God’s business…assisting God in ushering in the messianic age.

What baffles me is not the gravity of his offenses, to which he confessed to these…rather, it is the way that the Israeli government and press is handling the news.  Without going so far as condoning his practices…they are doing everything they can to identify him as a quiet man who went “bad”.

As I was reading the articles and the talkbacks from the readers, I was appalled at the defense of his actions.  One woman stated he should have gone farther and killed Ami!

As of this writing, not ONE major news agency IN THE WORLD has picked up on this story!  Not one!  Teitel not only killed in one country, but he is also wanted in the States…

This is not a case of Religious Rights; it is a case of Civil Rights. Jack attacked Arabs, Policemen protecting homosexuals, a professor at a local university and believers in Yeshua.

While we have our problems here in Israel that is not unique to the rest of the world, it appears that we have hit a new level of moral decay.  And this, on the 14th anniversary of the murder of Itzak Rabin…another victim of internal terror.

What you don’t know, is that it took 14 years to “catch” this guy…why????  Because he targeted people that are not friends with the mainstream? While I don’t agree with most of the views of these victims, I do see them as people that God loves.

The Police, the media, everyone wanted to bury the news of the bomb.  Only when the news hit the mainstream lovers of Israel a cry for justice was heard.  And, it was because of the fact that the Ortiz family and Teitel are Americans, that an American Agency (FBI) got involved and help solve the case.

I see that God has a judicial system that works in spite of man’s denial or indifference.  The moment that the Ortiz family was bombed, the Believers world-wide, rose up in prayer.  They stood with the family in prayer and support…with letters, phone calls, anything they could do to help the family.

And they didn’t back down!  It seemed like every day, I received an email from one organization or another telling me about Ami’s progress.  And the effectual, fervent prayers yielded justice!

People, this is an answer to prayer!  BUT DON’T STOP PRAYING!  This incident only highlights what we are living here on a daily basis.  Pray for our rights, our liberty to live as free citizens of a God-given country.  Pray for us and our families to be protected from attacks that come from all sides.  Journalists in mainstream newspapers are warning that there are other Jewish terrorists that are still on the loose.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is not a suggestion, rather it is a commandment…that comes with a promise of a blessing…

When you read my attach article from the Jerusalem Post, read it with your eyes wide open…for it will give you insight how to pray…

  • sukkot

Whew!  The holidays are finally over!  We had 4 holidays clumped together in  a month’s span of time.  All with different purposes and meanings, and I hope you have enjoyed our “shots from Israel” on how we celebrate our festivities.

There is just one more video for you to enjoy:

Sukkot -- It is one of the feasts of the Lord and one of the most important of the Jewish Holidays. Also known as the Feast of Tabernacles or the Feast of Booths, this appointed Festival is a time to remember when the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness, and living temporary dwellings after they left Egypt. In commemoration of this event, people, religious or not, gather with family and friends to enjoy the many exciting aspects of the holiday.

    enjoy!

  • Just Imagine...

Just imagine in your country that God calls a fast, and because of this, the whole country stops…

No cars are allowed to drive…

Nothing is allowed to play on the TV or radio stations…

    All the stores are closed…

And everybody comes out that night on the streets after prayers in the Synagogue and enjoys a huge block party with kid’s riding bikes, skateboards, or inline skating.

This is Israel and the Holiday is Yom Kippur.

Thousands of years ago, God created a commandment that we as a nation observe a day of fasting for the atonement of our sins.  To this day, Jews around the world observe this commandment.  But to see how it is done in Israel is amazing.

Because there were no cars allowed, I had to walk from Hod Hasharon to Kfar Saba, 15 min by car, or 1 hour by foot.

Not once did I walk on the side walk, only on the street with thousands of other residents who enjoyed the peace and quiet of no horns honking or car fumes.

Instead, kids enjoyed their newly acquired bikes, and battery operated mini-cars.

I was amazed as I walked on main street Kfar Saba and saw what appeared as all the inhabitants of that booming city out on the street by the thousands.  It looked exactly like Times Square in anticipation of the dropping of the ball on New Year’s Eve!

I marveled standing in the middle of what usually is the busiest intersection in the city and seeing the sea of people on every side.  The stoplights ignored, and the voices enjoying the ever so quiet moment.

I used to live in the vast expanses of Tucson, Arizona.  Where the country promised quiet with an occasional bird singing.  But Tucson’s quietness paled in comparison to this night, and the next day. It was as if a day of reverence was even honored in the voices along the street.

No cell phones ring, no bars open, no one shopping to get the “Yom Kippur Sales”, for the stores are all closed. What a change of pace to holidays spent in the states.

I guess you can call it one of those “on location” things. For you really have to be here to see it!

  • ISRAEL’S RESOLVE TO ALLOW FREEDOM OF RELIGION

ISRAEL’S RESOLVE TO ALLOW FREEDOM OF RELIGION

    TESTED BY ULTRA-ORTHODOX

    Shira Sorko-Ram

    www.MaozIsrael.org

In the city of Arad in southern Israel, some of the most intense and persistent persecution is continuing at this moment.  Literally all of the believers in that town suffer great hardship.  There are large yeshivas (Talmudic schools) that are filled with thousands of young men.  They are supported by taxpayers’ money and donations from ultra-Orthodox patrons in the U.S and other nations.  Since they don’t work or serve in the army, they have plenty of time to torment followers of Yeshua.

Their main tactic is to irritate, aggravate and infuriate the believers in order to get some kind of reaction from them.  For instance, one of the Messianic leaders in Arad told me that an ultra-Orthodox man stands in front of his house from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. every night.   He just stands there, doing nothing, but by doing so the dogs throughout the neighborhood howl incessantly all night.

On Mondays at 5:00 a.m. this believer leaves his home for a prayer meeting.  As he walks away from the house, the ultra-Orthodox (haredim in Hebrew) follow him, cursing and shouting at him at close range.  The haredim stalk the believers, following and harassing them continuously whenever they leave their homes. They wave their hands in front of the believers’ faces, tormenting, screaming obscenities at them, and their children, hoping for a reaction they can film.  Sadly, it is the same spirit and tactics the Nazis used in the beginning against Jews in Europe not so long ago.

In 2002, Eddie and Lura Beckford started a chess club in Arad called the King’s Men Club and Bible Shop for pensioners.  The haredim have done everything in their power to close down this outreach, including setting it on fire.  Our humanitarian aid fund for believers, istandwithisrael.com, helped them rebuild it.  It is full every day with elderly men, especially Russians, who play chess and read the Gospel literature available there.

On a regular basis, the haredim come to the club, cursing and swearing, screaming and blaspheming and in general causing pandemonium.  After one violent demonstration, one of the chess players had a heart attack and died on the spot.  The police never did a thing about it.

When the ultra-Orthodox harass, they often have one of their colleagues film the event.  If a believer tries to defend himself, he will find himself on youtube – only, of course, the part of the video that shows the Messianic believer.

But God is watching over Israel, positioning believers, young and old, in His Land to prepare for the Great Awakening He has promised.

We must pray for the salvation of these ultra-Orthodox communities. Just think what will happen when their zeal is accompanied with revelation of Yeshua.
